The 5th annual Apple Fest on Monument Circle rocked the lunchtime crowd yesterday. The event, which supports The Salvation Army’s campaign to end homelessness, drew record crowds on a perfect day.
Applebee’s Restaurants provided hamburgers and chicken sandwiches and the hot apple cobbler and ice cream was also a big hit with patrons. Also sponsoring the event were WJJK and Adrian Orchards.
The lunch crowd was entertained by local band, Bandwagon, who played for free to help support The Salvation Army event.
