There’s no faster way to get into the Christmas spirit than to stand beside a Salvation Army Red Kettle ringing a bell, greeting friends and neighbors and wishing passers-by a very Merry Christmas. The tradition of collecting donations in a kettle goes all the way back to 1891 and bell ringing has become a national pastime enjoyed by thousands of individuals and groups each Christmas season.

Are you ready to step up to the kettle and give it a try? Just two hours of your time raises enough money to feed a family of four for an entire week. When it comes to investing your time as a volunteer, you won’t find a more satisfying ROI than that!

So how to begin?

Whether you are flying solo or want to ring as a family, with a social group or as an outing with co-workers, we need bell ringers in communities across Indiana. Many of our Corps Community Centers are using RegisterToRing.com – an easy-to-use online resource that lets you find the perfect location, date and time that fits into your schedule.
