Congressman Mike Pence from Indiana’s 6th congressional district, stopped in Anderson, Indiana last Friday during a multi-city tour to ring the bell for The Salvation Army outside of Walmart on Scatterfield road. Pence braved the cold temperatures to meet with Anderson Walmart shoppers during the noon hour.
The Salvation Army is currently ringing bells for its national Red Kettle campaign. Campaign goals vary in every community, but central Indiana’s overall Christmas goal is $2,750,000. You can help by volunteering to ring a bell yourself, hosting an Online Red Kettle and inviting friends to fill it, or making a secure online credit card donation at IndyKettle.org.
