The Circle City Riders held their 13th annual Circle City Toy Run last Saturday. Riders left from Stables Night Club, and at MUG SHOTS Lounge and rode to The Salvation Army’s headquarters on 3100 N. Meridian Street to deliver the hundreds of toys they collected.
The organizer of the Circle City Toy Run, Ron “Bumber” Herron says that he runs the annual event in honor of his Mother, Dorothy Herron, who was big supporter of The Salvation Army. Dorothy recently passed away and Ron wishes to continue this annual event to honor her memory and her giving spirit.
The toys that were collected will be distributed to families in need during The Salvation Army’s Toy Shop. This year’s Toy Shop will be held on December 19th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. If you would like more information about the Toy Shop, visit IndyWISHTree.org.
