The Salvation Army in Indiana is thrilled to announce that long time partners, Marsh Supermarkets, has once again welcomed the famous Red Kettles to their stores around the state beginning Friday, November 21. By generously inviting The Salvation Army to ring bells at its stores, Marsh is providing service to thousands of Hoosiers in need this year. Last year, in Central Indiana alone, more than $158,000 was raised in front of Marsh, O’Malia’s and Main Street Markets. This translates to more than 63,000 meals for the hungry in Central Indiana.
“Marsh’s commitment to The Salvation Army is changing the lives of those in need in our community,” says Major Bob Webster, Indiana Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army. “It’s truly a blessing to be able to partner with them again this year.”
In addition to supporting The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign, Marsh is “kicking off” the inaugural Marsh Holiday Giving Program. Customers are offered the opportunity to purchase $3, $5 or $10 food bags to benefit local food banks/ food pantries throughout Indiana and Ohio. Several of the donations will be directed to different Salvation Army locations.
You can help support The Salvation Army this season by visiting your local Marsh, O’Malia’s or Main Street Market and making your donation.
