All I have done for the last few weeks is Radiothon, Radiothon, and Radiothon!  The sponsors are getting lined up, the prize packages are being put together, and every last details is being check, re-checked, and checked again.  Did you know we are giving away a Royal Spa Hot Tub this year?  Oh, and AT&T donated Samsung Tablets that you can register to win at specific AT&T and Walmart locations.  Did I mention that we are not only at WIBC, and Walmart, but also at Sullivan Hardware & Garden???  If you count the broadcast or listening on line, the WIBC Radiothon Benefiting The Salvation Army presented by Donatos is pretty much everywhere.

For the 17th consecutive year, The Salvation Army is teaming up with Emmis Communications’ 93.1 WIBC for a three day, on-air fundraising campaign benefiting local programs and services for those in need.  To date, corporate partners and WIBC listeners have helped raise more than $1,527,412!  This year, we need to help raise hundreds of thousands more!

You may not realize it, but The Salvation Army receives approximately two-thirds of our financial support during Christmas.  We work hard to make sure everything comes together, and today that is why I am asking you to help The Salvation Army.  Your sponsorship of an hour during Radiothon and/or your donation of a prize valued at $50 or more will allow us to continue to programs for men, women, and children in central Indiana, and with the need even higher, those programs are vital.

Be a part of the WIBC Radiothon Benefiting The Salvation Army Presented by Donatos by listening to 93.1 WIBC, visiting, or by visiting one of the Walmart locations listed below.  To make a pledge, call (877) 71-PEACE (during Radiothon, starting 6 AM Friday, December 9 through 4 PM Sunday, December 11). Together, we can do the most good!  I hope to hear that phone ring because of you.

Merry Christmas,
