Indianapolis- The Salvation Army continued its service to those hit by the recent devastating floods in Shelby, and Morgan Counties. In Shelbyville, The Salvation Army continues to provide a shelter for those who have been displaced in Shelby County. The shelter is located at The Salvation Army’s Shelbyville Corps, 136 E. Washington St., Shelbyville, IN 46176. Those needing help can contact the shelter at (317) 398-7421. Salvation Army Canteens are also bringing food and water to victims in Flat Rock, Middletown, and Marietta.
In Morgan County, a Salvation Army Canteen is providing food and beverages to responders and flood victims at the Emergency Operations Center in Martinsville. Hundreds of Salvation Army Flood Clean-Up Kits have been delivered to Martinsville for distribution to residents who need them.
